AI chat is a different way into the same form system: instead of navigating Forms → Template → Client → fields, you describe what you need recorded and the AI assembles the form for you.
It's useful when you're with a client and can't easily type, dictating while the moment is fresh, or finishing notes on the bus home. The AI never bypasses review — you always see the populated form before it's submitted — it just does the picking, tidying, and routing.
Step 1
Open the chat
From the dashboard, tap the chat button in the bottom-right. The AI assistant opens — type, or tap the mic to dictate.
Step 2
Say what you need
Tell it the form and client in plain language: "Log a Daily Visit Note for Sam Carter." No need for exact spelling — it'll ask if anything's ambiguous.
Step 3
The AI loads the form
It picks the right template, links the client, and starts a draft. The conversation title updates to confirm what it's working on.
Step 4
Describe the note
Say what happened in your own words. The AI tidies the wording, fixes typos, and saves it straight into the form field. Tap the form card to review, then submit — it appears in Responses like any manual entry.
