Tick off medications and tasks on shift

Record a medication and complete your shift's tasks from the dashboard while you're clocked in.

Mobile app

While you're clocked in, your dashboard shows Current shift tasks under My Shifts: the client's medications and the day's to-dos, with a count of how many are done. The same list is on the shift's own page.

A medication is recorded on a sheet, with what happened, the time, the supply check and your signature. A simple to-do is ticked off in one tap.

  1. Step 1

    Find the list

Once you've clocked in, scroll down your dashboard to Current shift tasks. Pending shows what's still to do. The header counts what's done, and the chevron collapses the list.

  2. Step 2

    Open a medication

Tap the medication. Record Medication Administration opens with the time it's scheduled for and the Prescribed Medication Details: the medication, dosage, route and any instructions. Check them before you give it.

  3. Step 3

    Say what happened

Under What happened?, pick the outcome that's true. Given — as prescribed keeps the dose and route from the prescription. The other outcomes cover a dose given with a variation, a partial dose, a full dose wasted, and Not given — other reason, where you choose Refused, Missed or Not Administered, pick the reason and add notes.

  4. Step 4

Check the time, supply and sign

Date Administered and Time Administered start at the current time — change them if you gave it earlier. Answer the supply question (Yes or Running low), sign in the box and tap Accept to save the signature. Submit won't go through without both.

  5. Step 5

    Submit it

Tap Submit. The medication leaves Pending and the count goes up. A dose recorded as not given leaves Pending too, but it isn't completed: it shows a red Not Given. If the medication needs a second signature, it shows Awaiting Verification until a colleague verifies it.

  6. Step 6

    Tick off a task

Tap a task's circle to complete it. Tasks that need a note, a signature, a yes/no answer or a photo open a sheet first, and a form task opens the form.

  7. Step 7

    See what's done

Tap Completed to see everything recorded for the day. Tap a day in the strip to see another day's list.
