A new shift starts life as Pending — it's on offer to you but not yet locked in. Until you accept, the slot can still be reassigned to another worker, and it doesn't count towards your scheduled hours.
Accepting flips the shift to Confirmed, blocks the timeslot on your calendar, and arms the Clock In button for the start of the shift. You can accept straight from the dashboard, or open the shift first if you want the full details.
Step 1
Accept from the dashboard
A new shift lands as Pending on your dashboard with Accept and Decline buttons right on the card. Tap Accept to lock it in — the quickest route.
Step 2
Or check it on the Shifts tab
Want to see it in context first? Tap Shifts. Pending shifts show on their scheduled day with a Pending badge, and the counter up top tracks how many are still waiting on a response.
Step 3
Open the shift and accept
Tap the shift for the full details — date, time, address, and client. Tap Accept, confirm on the prompt, and the shift flips to Confirmed with a Clock In button ready for the day.
