In the dashboard form builder, an administrator names a new Vehicle Check, opens its first field, labels it "Is the vehicle safe to use?", makes it a required Yes / No dropdown, accepts it and saves the form into Forms Management.

Good to know

A form template is the set of questions your team fills in. This guide builds one from scratch with a single required question, then saves it and checks what saved.

Two choices shape what you get back. Answer type decides what kind of answer you collect: a dropdown gives the same words on every response, so they line up when you compare them. Required decides whether the form can be sent without an answer.

What it does

  • Choose from text, date, dropdown, rating, slider, file, signature and more field types.
  • Drag fields into order, and add page breaks and static text to guide people.
  • Show a question only when an earlier answer needs it, with conditional logic.
  • Make answers required, and decide whether responses need approval.
  • Preview the form before you save it.
